Post OpenGl confudled...
Hello All,

In Settings > OpenGl, the option "use vbo" is unticked; when I tick it, GLC player crashes upon restarting the program and attempting to load a model. Also the "Use Shader" option is greyed out.

Could someone explain why this is? And how I can get openGl to work with GLC...

Thanks,

:)

OpenGl work with GLC... But you have two problems which come from :
you Graphic shipset (Intel 945 GM)
Your OpenGL driver version <=> Hardware

For the first One : Normally, your hardware can support VBO (Vertex Buffer Object) sice OpenGL 1.4. But in Fact, it's not the case with Intel 945 GM
For the second one : GLC_Player's shader use OpenGL extension : GLSL, and to use GLSL you need a driver supporting OpenGL 2.0.

I'm sorry, But Intel graphic cards are very bad in OpenGL support.
:) GLC_Player handle this lack and deactivate not supported features.

Here is the OpenGL setting window of my computer :
