
Re: Hierarchy in .dae (COLLADA) files
Here is the answer of the Poser Technical Support when I told them that there is only one mesh in the COLLADA file:
"It does not appear that the program GLC-player you use is compatible with the Collada Export from Poser. I do not know what other options, other than the OBJ export."
Now the strange thing : I imported Nexus 2 (.dae in the GLC-player example folder) into Poser, saved it as a Poser regular file (.pz3) and exported it as .dae again. GLC-player import Poser-Nexus 2.dae pretty much as a .obj file that is no hierachy is kept (all parts at same level) but I can select individual groups.
This is pretty much the opposite of what I have when I export Characters (such as P6 James) from Poser : hierachy is kept but I cannot select individual groups in GLC-player...
Why different behaviours ?
