Post uv mapping of texture

I have a VRML file with some textures (jpg) images.

I want to load a texture file (jpg) and specific region of it to use it as a texture to my material.
please give me some instructions on how to do this.
I have read the GLC_Texture class but it doesn't give such functionality.
I have also saw the GLC_Mesh addTexel() but I really don't know how to use this.

From the VRML file I have the texture file as well as the texture coordinates for the region that I want to map to my material.
