Hi
I am really impressed about the purity and functionality of your 3ds viewer, thanks!
Currently I am developing an image reconstruction program for positron emission tomography and I would like to test its capabilities for various shapes, and I have found some good 3d models of famous sculptures (like Aphrodite of Milos) in .3ds. Since in your program you surely have some 3d volume representation of the models, can you add some option to export this volume with some resolution to some kind of raw volume file? The best would be some laid out dump of the 3d array, thats easily readable from C. Or if you have no time or interest in this can you direct me how to do this?
thanks for your help!
I would be glad to show my results with these sculptures to you and add you to the thanks section.

Hello,
The unique alternative representation volume in GLC_lib is a Bounding Box.

I don't think that this kind of volume could help you...
